Fathers for GoodThe Knights of Columbus is now here at St John Neumann. Knights of Columbus is the worlds largest Catholic family service organization with over 1.6 million members and operates in 16 countries. Knights has five core principles-charity, church, community, family and youth. It was founded in 1882 by Father Michael McGivney and membership is open to any practicing Catholic man who is 18 years or older. Beginning April 2009, business meetings will be held the Second Tuesday of every month. Please note there will not be a March 2009 meeting. Business meetings are open to all members, see you there!
St. John Neumann Council #14457 was founded in 2008. The Council works closely with the St. John Neumann Parish in Sunbury and the surrounding area, providing resources for various projects, members being active participants in their parish.

At the May 11, 2010 meeting, we will be voting for officers. This is a very important meeting as it will set our leadership for the next 2 years.
If your interested in any of the officer positions, please contact Bob Scott. Nominations have already taken place, but it isn’t to late to run for a position.

The tentative date for the June 2010 AAH cleanup will be June 5th. There was a very weak showing for the March Cleanup, which grossed 65 bags of trash. All able bodies are welcome to assist, including spouses and children 13 or older. Many bodies will make quick work of this cleanup.
Breakfast will be held at Bob Evans at 7:00am, followed by deployment to the cleanup locations by 8am.
